What is IGNITE Weekend?

IGNITE is a powerful weekend at GraceLife Church where students can ignite and deepen their relationship with Jesus, make good friends, connect with leaders, and the generous members of GraceLife open up their homes for student LifeGroups! We will have worship, messages, games, and more! 

THEME

At IGNITE 2025, we will rally behind Romans 8:37 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” We believe that GraceLife Youth will be more than conquerors because of God’s love.

• Who: 6th-12th graders 

• When: February 14-16, 2025

  • Drop-Off: Friday, February 14 @ 6:30 PM

  • Pick-up: Sunday, February 16 @ 1:15 PM (Parents are invited to attend the 12:00 PM service!)

• Where: GraceLife Church, 501 Clemons Rd. Columbia, SC 29229

  • We will be staying in Host Homes! These are families who have been background checked and vetted by GraceLife to host students and leaders to spend the night within their home for the weekend!

PACKING LIST

• Bible, journal, pen

• Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc)

• Bath Towel

• Sleeping Bag and Pillow (please place all bedding in trash bags labeled with full name and LifeGroup)

• Appropriate clothes for worship and sessions (Friday & Saturday Night, Sunday Morning)

• Active clothes for Saturday activities

• Pajamas

• Socks/undergarments

• Refillable water bottle

• Prescription Medications in original bottles (will be checked in during check-in process by parent only)

• Phones will be collected during check-in

• Optional: Snacks, Sunscreen, Bug spray

FAQs

Are students allowed to have their phones during the weekend? 

No. We desire students to experience a distraction free environment with deep personal connections. Students will turn in their phones during check-in. We do not allow students to use their phones during the weekend. Parents will be provided the child’s leaders and host families phone number in case of an emergency. Our social media team will keep you up to date with all our activities.

Does my student have to participate in Host Homes? 

If you have signed up to attend IGNITE 2025, this includes the Host Home experience. Host Homes are designed for students to enjoy a family-like, safe and trusted environment. Youth Leaders and home owners will be background checked and vetted by GraceLife Church leadership to ensure your child’s safety. If you have extenuating circumstances that do not allow you to stay in a Host Home, we would simply need a TIME AWAY FORM filled out before February 9 to be able to coordinate drop off and pick up.

Do meals accommodate allergies and dietary needs? 

Yes. Please include all allergies and dietary needs in your registration form to best accommodate your student. We can accommodate vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten free meals. However, we cannot accommodate if we do not know ahead of time.

What if my student is not able to attend the whole weekend?

Even if your student is not able to attend all of IGNITE, we would still love to have them be a part of it as much as possible. If a student is arriving late, or leaving early, we would simply need a TIME AWAY FORM filled out before February 9 to be able to coordinate drop off and pick up.

How do LifeGroups travel to and from GraceLife throughout the weekend?

All LifeGroups have 2 or more assigned vehicles that will transport the students to and from their host homes for the weekend.
